Who we are

Console Pest Control is a trading style of Console Building Solutions Ltd, a building contractor based in Morden. The pest control side runs as its own business, with its own technicians and its own accreditations, but it shares something most pest firms do not have: a building team.

That matters more than it sounds. The majority of recurring pest problems are building problems. A mouse comes back every autumn because there is a gap around a soil pipe. Rats return because a drain is damaged. Birds nest in the guttering because the roofline needs attention. Most pest firms treat the pest and hand you a list of repairs to arrange yourself. We can quote and carry out the repairs as part of the same job.

  • Based in Morden, covering South London and Surrey
  • BPCA member, TrustMark registered and Checkatrade vetted
  • Domestic callouts, landlord work and commercial contracts
  • Proofing and remedial building work carried out in-house
  • Written reports for landlords, agents and Environmental Health

How we work

No call centre, no scripted sales process, and no pressure to commit on the doorstep.

01

We tell you what it is

Send a photo or describe what you have seen. We will identify it honestly, including when it is something you can deal with yourself.

02

We quote after we have looked

Any price before an inspection is an estimate. The real price comes once a technician has seen the property, and we will not carry out chargeable work you have not agreed to.

03

We finish the job

Follow-up visits are part of the programme, not an upsell. We would rather do the second visit than have you call someone else in a month.

Qualifications and accreditation

There is no single pest control licence in the UK. What exists instead is a set of competence requirements, and they are worth asking any firm about before you let them into your home.

  • RSPH and BPCA Level 2 Award in Pest Management for technicians
  • CRRU-recognised proof of competence for rodenticide use
  • BPCA membership, TrustMark registration and Checkatrade vetting
  • Full public liability insurance
  • Safe handling, storage and disposal in line with current regulations

If any pest controller cannot answer those questions, that tells you something.
