What we collect
We collect only what we need to quote for and carry out pest control work:
- Your name, address, telephone number, email address and, where you use it, your WhatsApp number.
- Details of the pest problem, including any photographs you send us.
- Information about the property, such as its type, size and access arrangements.
- Records of the treatments we carry out, the products used and our recommendations.
- Payment details. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
- Standard website and server information such as IP address, browser type and the pages you visit.
Why we use it and our legal basis
- To perform our contract with you — quoting, booking, carrying out treatments, follow-up visits, invoicing and dealing with any complaint.
- To comply with legal obligations — keeping records of pesticide use and treatment reports, tax and accounting records, and health and safety records.
- For our legitimate interests — running and improving the business, keeping our records accurate, preventing fraud, and defending legal claims. Where we rely on legitimate interests we have considered whether it is fair to you.
- With your consent — marketing emails, if you have asked for them. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where we need to:
- Our hosting, email and website providers, and our telephone and messaging providers.
- Our accountants, insurers and professional advisers.
- Payment processors.
- Where a treatment is carried out on a tenanted property, the landlord or managing agent who instructed us, limited to what they need to know.
- Regulators or enforcement bodies where we are required by law to do so, for example records of rodenticide use.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Treatment records and related correspondence are kept for [6] years after the last treatment, which covers both our legal record-keeping obligations and the limitation period for claims. Accounting records are kept for 6 years. Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted after [12] months. Marketing consents are kept until you withdraw them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it erased in some circumstances, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Complaints
